Scrutineer reads your footage every two seconds for anybody who might look under 25, and puts each such moment in front of a person, who settles it against your own age records. The record of who looked at what, and against which record, is kept and exported.
Nothing opens in this browser — this one takes a job and does the work on our own graphics cards in Oregon. The free allowance below is how you try it: 30 minutes, no card and no payment, on the key you are issued.
Runs on this computer today. It opens to the public when two pieces are in place — see below.
The problem
Age records prove every performer was an adult. They do not look at a single frame. The UK and EU regimes expect platforms to check content itself, and a small studio has no team to watch every minute. What it can do is have a machine find the moments worth a person's time, and keep the record of what that person decided.
Challenge 25: the line for looking is set well above the line that matters, because a guess is least reliable near it.
Scrutineer never clears footage. Nothing flagged is said as exactly that - and as not a clearance.
Never pictures. No frame is written to disk; your reviewer opens your own file at the moment.
Scrutineer answers this computer only until every frame is matched against known abuse material with PhotoDNA before a model sees it, and it runs on GPU capacity whose terms allow adult content. It refuses to open without both.
How it works
A path on your computer, or an upload.
Against your age records: adult on record with the record reference, or escalated.
Who decided what, when, against which record - one CSV.
What it will never do
A guess at somebody's age from a picture is not evidence, so it is never treated as one.
Pricing
A unit is one minute of footage scanned, rounded up per video. Reviewing is free.
A month of releases.
A platform's weekly uploads.
Paid in bitcoin through our own checkout; the minutes are added to your key as soon as the payment confirms. Your licence key is emailed to you within two working days of payment.
Checkout is our own bitcoin server, not a card processor. The units you buy are added to your key: buy from the Buy more box inside the program and they arrive on their own once the payment confirms, or buy here and paste the invoice number from your receipt into that box.
Questions
No. Nothing can verify an age from a picture. It finds the moments a person should check against your age records, and keeps the record of that check.
Because guesses are least reliable near the line. Shops use Challenge 25 for the same reason.
The page says plainly: hold the footage, check the records, and if it may show a minor, report it as the law requires and do not copy or share it.
No. Frames are read and dropped; an uploaded video is deleted when the scan ends. Only timecodes are kept.
A key. One line of text, issued to you and shown exactly once — only its hash is kept here, so it cannot be looked up later and we could not tell you what yours is. Every key arrives with a free allowance already on it, which is the tier at the top of the pricing above, and the work starts the first time you send a job with that key on it.
Each job is metered in the unit named in the pricing, and a unit that fails — a file that will not read, a row the model held back — is not charged and is named in the job report rather than silently skipped. When an allowance runs out the next job is refused before any work starts, with the number it used printed on the refusal.
More units are bought in bitcoin. The checkout is a bitcoin server we run ourselves. Buy from the Buy more box inside the program and the units are added to your key on their own as soon as the payment confirms; buy from the plan buttons above and paste the invoice number from your receipt into that same box. Each payment adds its units once, to one key.
Make a key, point it at a finished scene, and settle what it finds.
