Riposte builds a claim for the Copyright Claims Board, the federal small-claims alternative: each work with its registration or application and whether it was timely, the copying with every capture fingerprinted and every takedown sent, a service address, and the damages asked against what the Board can actually award.

The problem
The Copyright Claims Board hears disputes up to $30,000 in total, with statutory damages up to $15,000 per work — half that for works not timely registered — and no lawyer needed. A claim needs a registration or a pending application, must be within three years of the copying, and must be servable. Built wrong, it is dismissed.
statutory damages per work — $7,500 for works not timely registered.
Copyright Claims Board →Not a reminder. I filed it refuses, with the reason named, while a work has neither a registration nor an application, the copying is outside three years, the respondent or a service address is missing, there is no fingerprinted evidence, or the amount asked is over the caps. There is no override.
How it works
First published, registration or application number and date, and the damages asked. Each is marked timely or not.
The respondent, a service address, when it began and was last seen, every capture fingerprinted and every takedown sent.
Statutory or actual damages, each work’s ceiling, the most the Board can award, and the track. File on eCCB.
What it will never do
Riposte prepares everything the claim needs. You file it on the Board’s own system.
Pricing
The Board’s fees are modest. The risk is a claim built wrong.
One respondent, the works they copied.
Three sites copying your work.
One-time payment. Your bank statement says Riposte Software. Refunded in full on request within 30 days if the claim has not been marked filed. Your licence key is emailed to you within two working days of payment.
Checkout is our own bitcoin server, not a card processor — nobody we had to apply to and nobody who can close the account. The button takes you straight to it. Give your email address there — that is where your key is sent.
Questions
Registered before the copying began, or within three months of publication. A late registration halves the statutory ceiling.
A pending application is enough to bring the claim. A refused one dismisses it without prejudice.
Yes. The Board is voluntary; a respondent may opt out, and the claim can go to federal court instead.
No. It is the packet the Board needs.
The demo on this page is the whole program, running on invented records. Paying gets you a licence key — one line of text, emailed to the address you give at checkout within two working days. Paste it into the program and from then on it keeps your own records. Until then, nothing you type into it is kept.
The key is checked inside the page, on your own machine. It never calls us, so there is still no account and nothing about your business goes anywhere. If you ever stop paying, your records stay exactly where they are, read-only, and Export still hands you every one of them.
The invented performer’s three clips were re-uploaded: one timely registered, one registered too late, one only applied for. She asked $45,000 against a ceiling of $30,000, and there is no service address. Riposte will not file until each is fixed.
