Poster Cover Frames
For creators picking a cover still

The thing that goes wrong is not a rejection. It is reach quietly cut on an account that took two years to build.

Drop in the frames you were thinking of using. Each one is actually looked at on our own GPUs and comes back clear, borderline or blocked — what is visible that drove it, what to crop or cover, and the line of text to put across it. Frames are metered one each and one held back is not charged.

Nothing opens in this browser — this one takes a job and does the work on our own graphics cards in Oregon. The free allowance below is how you try it: 20 frames, no card and no payment, on the key you are issued.

Five surfaces, each with its own tolerance written down: TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, X and the storefront itself. There is no notification and nothing to appeal, which is why the guess is worth paying to replace.

The problem

Picking a cover frame is the highest-stakes guess a creator makes, and the feedback never arrives.

A listing that gets pulled is at least information. What actually happens is that reach drops, nothing is said, and the creator never learns which still did it. The one tool that could judge the frame in advance is a hosted vision model, and reading this content is against the usage policy — the account gets closed for asking. Our machines have no such policy, which is the whole reason this can exist.

levels, not a score. clear, borderline, blocked — because those are the only three things a creator can actually do about it. A number out of ten invites an argument with a classifier nobody can see.

never

delivered without an action. Anything that is not clear has to come back with what to crop or cover, or the row is rejected and not charged. A verdict with no action attached is a worry, not a product.

5

surfaces with different rules, kept apart. TikTok is judged by a classifier in milliseconds with no appeal that arrives in time to matter. Reddit is judged by moderators, where the risk is the advertising rules rather than the skin. Same frame, different answer.

It is not the platform's classifier, and the page says so.

Nobody outside those companies has their classifier, and anybody claiming to has sold you something. What this does is read the frame against a written tolerance for each surface — no visible nipple, areola, genital outline or uncovered buttock; sheer fabric counts as uncovered; implied nudity through a towel, a sheet or a hand is allowed where nothing is actually visible — and say which of the three it falls in and why. The honest limit is returned by the program itself and printed on the page and in every report, deliberately.

How it works

Frames in, verdicts out

Take a key

Shown once, only the hash kept. A new key carries 20 free frames — enough to put a real spread through it: one you are confident about, one you are not, and one you already suspect.

Pick the surface

Each one shows what it tolerates and what it does about a borderline frame, in words, before you upload. The same still is a different decision on TikTok and on Reddit, and reading why is half of what you are buying.

Read the verdict and the crop

What is visible that drove the call, what to crop or cover to fix it, and the overlay line to put across the still — which gets the full word gate of its own, because a frame that passes the nudity filter while carrying "link in bio" across it has not solved the problem.

What it will never do

Two things it cannot do, said before you upload

Both are on the page above the fold, because a creator who believes otherwise has bought the wrong thing.

It does not make or edit pictures. There is no image generator on our machines and the model that looks at your frame reads pictures, it cannot draw one. So the crop is an instruction and the overlay is a line of text to put on the still — not a composed image.
It is not the platform's classifier. It cannot promise a frame will pass. It reads the frame against a written tolerance and tells you which of three buckets it is in and what is driving it. The sentence saying so is in every report.
It keeps no frame it was shown. What is kept is the verdict, the surface, and what drove it. The picture is not the record and holding a library of other people's cover candidates is not a business we want to be in.
A borderline frame is not called clear to be helpful. The account is the asset. Where the honest answer is "this is not worth posting", that is the answer, and the reason is named so you can disagree with it.
Priced per frame judged. Never a percentage.A frame that failed on our side, or that came back without an action attached, is not charged.

Pricing

The first 20 frames are free, then priced per frame judged

One frame, one surface, one unit. The same frame against two surfaces is two judgements, because they are two different questions. Twenty are free on every key — enough for a real spread: one you are confident about, one you are not, and one you already suspect.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Does it actually look at the picture?

Yes. The frame goes to a vision model on our own hardware and the verdict is about what is in it. This is not a filename check or a metadata guess.

The image headers are read by hand rather than with an imaging library, which is why there is nothing to install — but the judgement is a real look at a real picture.

Can it just crop the frame for me?

No. There is no image model on these machines, and a product that silently re-encoded a master would be a product nobody should trust with one.

What you get is the instruction — which edge, how much, what is behind it — and you make the crop in whatever you already use.

What is the difference between this and Darkroom?

Poster asks one question: will an automated filter kill this frame. Darkroom asks which of your own frames to use — cover, gallery, teaser or reject — and which of the eight shots of one moment is the keeper.

A frame Darkroom calls the cover can still be one Poster says will get the listing pulled. Different questions, so they are different programs, and each page says so.

Why would I pay for a maybe?

Because the alternative is finding out by posting it, and on the two strictest surfaces finding out means reach cut on an account with no notification and no useful appeal.

Twenty free frames is enough to decide whether the verdicts match your own instinct on stills you have already posted and already know the outcome of. That is the fairest test of this product there is.

What do I actually get when I pay?

A key. One line of text, issued to you and shown exactly once — only its hash is kept here, so it cannot be looked up later and we could not tell you what yours is. Every key arrives with a free allowance already on it, which is the tier at the top of the pricing above, and the work starts the first time you send a job with that key on it.

Each job is metered in the unit named in the pricing, and a unit that fails — a file that will not read, a row the model held back — is not charged and is named in the job report rather than silently skipped. When an allowance runs out the next job is refused before any work starts, with the number it used printed on the refusal.

More units are bought in bitcoin. The checkout is a bitcoin server we run ourselves. Buy from the Buy more box inside the program and the units are added to your key on their own as soon as the payment confirms; buy from the plan buttons above and paste the invoice number from your receipt into that same box. Each payment adds its units once, to one key.

Run it on stills you already posted

Twenty free frames, and you already know which of them did well. If the verdicts line up with what happened, the next twenty are worth paying for; if they do not, you have lost nothing.
