Marker Tagging API
For adult platforms that cannot send frames to OpenAI or Anthropic

The big vision APIs will not look at your catalogue. This one will.

Marker is a metered endpoint on our own GPUs: send pictures or a video with a key, get back tags from a fixed list of business words — setting, light, people, shot, wardrobe, colour, mood — and a rating of sfw, suggestive or nsfw. No sales call, no onboarding, billed per frame.

Nothing opens in this browser — this one takes a job and does the work on our own graphics cards in Oregon. The free allowance below is how you try it: 40 frames, no card and no payment, on the key you are issued.

Runs on this machine today. Public intake opens when two safety pieces are in place — see below.

The problem

Your search needs tags. Your content breaks their terms.

A platform with fifty thousand clips needs every one tagged for search and filters, and the mainstream vision APIs forbid exactly this content — the account is closed on the first batch. The adult-specialist taggers want a sales call and a contract before the first picture. Marker is a key and a POST.

Closed list

Tags come only from a fixed vocabulary of business words; anything the model says off the list is thrown away in code, so no explicit word reaches your public fields.

Per frame

A picture is one frame. A video is read one frame every ten seconds and rolled up minute by minute. Held or failed frames are free.

Held

If the model cannot rule out that somebody shown is under 18, the frame is held with no tags and not charged, and you are told to look at it yourself.

Shut to the public until two things exist.

Marker answers this machine only until every picture is checked against known abuse material with PhotoDNA before a model sees it, and the GPUs are on terms that allow adult content. It refuses to start public without both. Those are the same two things holding our other adult services closed, and we say so rather than open early.

How it works

Key, POST, tags

Make a key

On the page, in one click. Forty frames are free.

Send pictures or a video

Up to twenty pictures a request, or one video up to thirty minutes. Base64 in a JSON body, with your key in a header.

Read the tags

Per frame, per minute, as JSON or CSV — every word from the published list, every rating one of three.

What it will never do

It tags. It does not judge people.

Marker describes the scene in words you can put on a public page. Everything else is yours.

No explicit words. The vocabulary has none, and the model cannot add any.
No age decisions.A possible minor is held for a person to look at. Marker never says somebody is an adult.
Not public yet.Pictures from strangers wait on a PhotoDNA check and adult-allowed GPUs.
No cards, no cut.Units are bought in bitcoin through our own checkout. We never touch your customers’ money.

Pricing

Per frame, in packs

Units never expire. A held or failed frame is never charged.

Paid in bitcoin through our own checkout; the frames are added to your key as soon as the payment confirms. Your licence key is emailed to you within two working days of payment.

Checkout is our own bitcoin server, not a card processor. The units you buy are added to your key: buy from the Buy more box inside the program and they arrive on their own once the payment confirms, or buy here and paste the invoice number from your receipt into that box.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Can I add my own tags?

Not to Marker’s output: the closed list is the product. Map our words to your own taxonomy on your side.

What happens to my pictures?

They are sent to our GPU box on our own network and are not kept by the model. Results are kept against your key until you delete them.

Why can’t I use it from my servers yet?

Because a tagging service open to the public has to check every picture against known abuse material first, and run on GPUs whose terms allow adult content. Neither is in place, so it stays on this machine.

How fast is it?

Fifteen to forty seconds a frame on our two GPUs today. This is a batch service, not a real-time one.

What do I actually get when I pay?

A key. One line of text, issued to you and shown exactly once — only its hash is kept here, so it cannot be looked up later and we could not tell you what yours is. Every key arrives with a free allowance already on it, which is the tier at the top of the pricing above, and the work starts the first time you send a job with that key on it.

Each job is metered in the unit named in the pricing, and a unit that fails — a file that will not read, a row the model held back — is not charged and is named in the job report rather than silently skipped. When an allowance runs out the next job is refused before any work starts, with the number it used printed on the refusal.

More units are bought in bitcoin. The checkout is a bitcoin server we run ourselves. Buy from the Buy more box inside the program and the units are added to your key on their own as soon as the payment confirms; buy from the plan buttons above and paste the invoice number from your receipt into that same box. Each payment adds its units once, to one key.

Try it on twenty pictures

Make a key, drop twenty stills, and read the tags. Any word you would not want on your public pages is one we never had.
