Callboard
This page loads nothing from anywhere else, sets no cookie, and reports your visit to nobody. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no web font, no content network. You can confirm it: open your browser’s network panel and reload — the only thing it fetches is this page.
Blackout is not a program that runs in your browser. You send it a job and we do the work on our machine. So this page has to say the opposite of a short privacy notice: we do receive the file you send, we write it to disk in Oregon, we keep the files the job produced, and nothing deletes either of those automatically today. What we never do is send any of it to anybody else, or look at it for any purpose but running your job.
In force from 26 October 2026. CallBoard Software LLC, 1303 SE Stephens St, Roseburg, OR 97470.
Our customers’ whole problem is that other companies will not touch them. A storefront that quietly reported their visit to four American advertising businesses would make a liar of every other sentence on it. So that does not happen.
And the work is done on graphics cards we own and rack ourselves in Oregon — not a hosted artificial-intelligence service, not somebody else’s API with an acceptable-use policy that would drop you in the middle of a catalogue. That is the entire reason this company bought hardware instead of renting it, and it is why there is no third party anywhere in this page: there is nobody else in the path to disclose.
What reaches us is the file you send and the choices you made on the page. The file is written into that one program’s own folder on our machine so the job can run, and the files the job produces are written there so that you can download them.
There is no retention clock yet, and we will not pretend there is. A job’s files stay in that folder until somebody deletes them. Nothing reads them after the job, nothing indexes them, no gallery, archive or thumbnail cache is built from them, and no copy leaves the machine. But “deleted when the job closes” would be a promise this software does not keep, so what this page says instead is: ask us and we delete it, and the day the program deletes on its own, the clock it keeps is printed here.
What the program writes down about you, apart from the files: a one-way hash of your key — never the key itself — your notice counts, and one row per job holding the filename, the variant you chose, how many notices finished and how many were held back, the times, and one sentence saying how it ended. There is no name, no address, no company, no card and no password in any of it, because the program never asks you for one. We cannot tell who is behind a key, and we do not try to.
This program never receives a picture or a video. What you send it is text — a catalogue export, a transcript, a list, a brief — and text is all it is able to read.
We take payment in bitcoin, through a payment server we run ourselves. There is no card and no payment company in the middle, which means there is no card number anywhere — not held by us, not held by anybody on our behalf. You are not asked for a billing address and you do not make an account to pay.
What a purchase actually collects: an email address, and what you bought. That is the address your key and your receipt are sent to, and it is the only thing we need from a sale. The payment itself is a bitcoin transaction, which is public on the bitcoin network the same way it is for everybody — we see the payment, not you.
We keep the sale record — email address, product, plan, date, amount — for as long as we are required to keep records of sales, and for no other purpose. We do not hold a balance for you, cannot charge you again without you sending another payment, and have nothing stored that a future charge could be made against.
A purchase of notices also leaves one row in the program's own records: the invoice number, the plan, the number of notices it added and when, against the hash of the key it was bought for. That row is the receipt that stops one payment being added twice.
Mail to sales@callboardsoftware.com reaches a mailbox we read. We keep the correspondence so the next person who answers you knows what was already said. We do not add you to a mailing list from it, and we do not sell, rent or share it.
Nothing we sell is for anybody under 18, and these are business tools sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything about a child.
This page is the current statement. If we ever add something that collects more than the above, it goes on this page before it goes on the site, and the date at the top changes.
Write to sales@callboardsoftware.com. Depending where you live you may have a right to see, correct or delete what a company holds about you. For this program that is three things: the files from your jobs, the job rows beside them, and our correspondence with you. Ask and we will tell you what is there, and delete it.
The one thing we cannot do is tell you your key. Only a one-way hash of it is stored, on purpose, so a stolen copy of our database is a list of notice counts rather than a list of working keys. The cost of that is real and it is yours: a lost key is replaced, not recovered.
