Anything that uses members' sensitive data — and on an adult site that usually means data about their sex life — goes live only when every state law that reaches the site is covered: opt-in consent where the state requires it, an opt-out where that is its rule, a written data protection assessment where it asks for one, and the state's row confirmed by you in the last year.
Each row is a state law as Footlight first knew it, with the source and the date it was read. These laws change every year and new states join; you confirm each row against the current law, and a row not confirmed in the last year blocks anything going live. A state with no thresholds filled in is treated as reaching the site.
