A title is ready when every performer on it held an identification that was examined on or before the production date and unexpired on that date, is credited under a name already on her record, and the statement is affixed everywhere the title was published. Not most places. Everywhere.
The statute wants these retrievable by every name the performer has ever used, not by the one on the release. A record filed under one name and credited under another is a record that does not exist, which is the finding studios are most often surprised by.
Type a name, a stage name or a URL. What comes back is what an agent standing at the counter is entitled to be handed. If it takes you longer than this box does, the drawer is not an index — it is a pile in date order.
Seven years from production, and five years after the business closes. A title inside the window whose records were thrown out is the same failure as never having made them, and it is the more common one.
