Backlot never logs in to your platform accounts. There is no password field in this program and there never will be. You export the statement they already give you, and you hand it to the books. An account that gets banned for a scraper is an account that stops paying you.
Every platform quotes you a cut and then charges you something else. The right-hand column is the only honest number in this business: what a dollar of gross was worth by the time it reached your bank.
A statement is a promise. A deposit is a fact. Backlot puts them side by side and tells you which promises have not turned up yet, and which deposits came in light.
What the bank actually received. Type them off your statement, or paste in the ones that never had a platform statement behind them — a custom paid direct is income all the same.
No platform withholds a cent. Every dollar in this ledger arrived untaxed, and roughly a third of it was never yours. Backlot sets it aside on the way in so that April is an errand instead of an emergency.
A shoot is not cleared because everybody says it is. It is cleared because every person on the sheet has an unexpired ID, a signed release, and a test inside the window on the day of the shoot. Backlot works that out and will not pretend otherwise.
The paperwork that keeps a legal business legal. Backlot holds the dates and the checklist — it does not hold the documents themselves, and it holds no images at all. You keep those where you keep them; this tells you what is missing and when it dies.
Nothing schedules out of a shoot that is not cleared. That single rule is the whole reason this program exists: the paperwork, the shoot, the clip and the money are one chain, and a break anywhere in it shows up here before it shows up in a letter.
Send a notice and forget it and you have done nothing. The value is in the clock: notice sent, response due, still up. A host that ignores you twice is a host you escalate, and this is the record you escalate with.
Two numbers per title that nobody in this business has side by side: what it earned, and how many times it was stolen. The second one is how you decide what to shoot next.
Built from receipts, not from messages. Backlot stores a platform handle and what it spent — no names, no addresses, no message history, nothing that turns a subpoena or a breach into somebody else's catastrophe as well as yours.
Backlot is a books-and-records room. It is deliberately not a platform, not a payment processor, not a host, and not your agent. What it refuses to do is the reason it can exist at all.
Demo data only. Nothing here leaves the browser — this build has no server, no account and no network call in it. General bookkeeping and recordkeeping software; not legal or tax advice.
